Leadership in the field of specialized calibration laboratories at the level of the Sultanate of Oman, to become the first choice in providing outstanding calibration, inspection, and measurement services characterized by high quality and excellence, by delivering results that are recognized both locally and internationally.
Mission
Providing comprehensive support in terms of calibration, repair, and technical consultation to all engineering departments in the armed forces and the Sultan’s Armed Forces with the highest level of accuracy, while delivering calibration certificates and test reports that comply with the requirements of international standards.
International Accreditation Certificate
The international accreditation certificate serves as evidence of a laboratory’s adherence to the highest ethical, legal, and technical standards. It also demonstrates the competence of technical personnel, the reliability of methods used, and the accuracy of calibration processes. Among the key benefits of international accreditation is the traceability and alignment of measurements to international standards, as well as the application of appropriate methodologies for calculating measurement uncertainty.
The Calibration Center of the Royal Air Force of Oman obtained the international accreditation certificate (ISO/IEC 17025:2017) – General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories – on March 24, 2020, from the international accreditation body the American National Accreditation Board (ANAB).
